Roman pewter Aesica brooch. Circa 1st century AD. Lead-alloy, 44mm, 14.2g. A rare surviving example with the triangular fan bow of the brooch being decorated with two stag deer with antlers facing one another, above is a human male head facing front with his hands holding each animal by their neck.
